Hollywood Comedy Movies: From Charlie Chaplin To Jim Carrie

Comedy movie started long back in the 1900. The first movie to be produced was by Thomas Edison’s kinetoscope of his assistant Fred Ott in Record of a Sneeze. This could also be considered the first to show comedy aspect of the movie.

Comedy films began to appear more during the era of silent films, prior to the 1930s. These comedy movies were originally based on visual humor. The prominent figure that we all know as Charlie Chaplin was one of the famous clown-style actors of the silent era. It was through Charlie Chaplin that the Hollywood comedy movies became famous and soon came the Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd.

Then in the 1920s came another trend of animated cartoons. They were the most popular Hollywood comedy movies of the time. The several popular characters of that era were Felix the cat, Krazy Kat and Betty Boop. However, the popularity of these movies was hindered due to lack of sound and color.

The end of 1920s, the Hollywood comedy industry marked a change brought about by the introduction of sound into the movies. This has allowed the industry to create dramatic new film styles and use verbal humor. These films were soon replacing silent movies. These films used dialogue of comedians such as the W.C Fields and the Marx Brothers. Charlie Chaplin was the last comedian to have acted in the silent films, and his films during 1930s were devoid of dialogue, although they did employ sound effects.

When the United States entered into World War II, Hollywood movies changed its course to themes related to the conflicts and Hollywood comedy movies portrayed more on military themes. The war era experienced a boom, where restrictions on the traveling made nearly a quarter of the money spent was on attending movies.

In the 1950s, the interest shifted where the TV became the focus of adult social situations on family oriented comedies. During this time the release of Hollywood comedy films declined. I know it sounds crazy, but they spend just as much time at work as you do, so they have to find a way to get in shape on the go. Well, one of the ways that I help them do that is by squeezing workouts in between takes or in the morning before they go to work. So how do I do it?

The first thing you need to understand is that it is intensity and not frequency or duration that helps you to get in shape. Spending all day in the gym doing easy exercises will not get you slim and trim. You have to focus on the intensity of the exercise, rather than the duration. For example, rather than doing a bicep curl on a machine over the course of 5-10 minutes, how about doing as many reps as you can in 1 minute and then quickly moving on to the next exercise. This is the #1 principle that I use to help people change the way they workout and actually start seeing results.

The next thing you can do is to ditch the long exhaustive cardio sessions and use something more high impact, such as jumping rope or doing core exercises. If you just increase the intensity and go all out, even for only a minute, your body will start to adapt. When you are able to bring your body to the brink of exhaustion within 20 minutes, then you will shock it into a permanent growth mode where you will naturally increase your metabolism and energy efficiency. What does this mean for you?

Well an increased metabolism means that you will actually be burning that fat you’ve been trying to shed for years. It also means that you will have more energy then ever before. Also, your body will use the food you consume more efficiently, which means that less will go to waste. This basically means you won’t be creating any more fat and so your entire effort will be spent on burning off that flabby midsection.

Don’t let people fool you into thinking that you have to spend hours in the gym every day to lose weight. Short and intense exercise burns just as much calories as a long cardio session does, so why spend the extra time if you don’t have to? I am a firm believer that you can get a good workout in 20 minutes a day and I have the results to prove it.

Almost like Seinfeld on overdrive; Seinfeld installed with a supercharger and performance chips, It’s Always Sunny is about a group of friends with little to no morality. They are selfish, rude, conniving and generally hilarious. “The Gang” as they are called are Mac, Dee, Charlie, Dennis, and beginning in season 2, Frank, played brilliantly by Danny DeVito. Again, like Seinfeld, the gang never learn and never stop being the horrible human beings that they are despite everything. Unlike Seinfeld, though, there are few, if any sentimental moments for the gang, they rarely do anything kind or altruistic, making Sunny a hilarious and bizarre mix of vaudeville and insanity.

When you follow a series for years, always sad to see come to an end. Many times we want regres … and what better way to do so in way back spin off with our favorite character.

The smoker

I leave aside Skinner, TVSquad option within X-Files, to lift this character so great. As enigmatic as few, nicknamed the smoker, but would not see a spin off on all matters paranormal with which this man had to do all these murky issues hidden by the government that this man represents …

Mr. Heckles.

One of the most endearing characters of Friends, I always wondered if I did something to share its practices no oboe or caring for your cat no. Would have a life. Would have more problems with the neighbors and we should see him face the encyclopedia salesman to visit Joey.

Chigliak Ed.

Although I have been hard to choose just one character Cicelly residents finally can not help but stay with Ed always so endearing, so ready to do anything for others, as good a person and as film geek … I’d love to see him starring in a series. Perhaps Cicelly and then putting in the same situation as Dr. Fleishman but the opposite: His career in Hollywood.

The Fat Ugly Naked.

Would be a challenge to do a series with this mythical character of Friends without seeing him naked in no time integral … but think about this approach: A block of buildings, each of its inhabitants and their relationship (and reaction) before the GFD … a sitcom, of course.

John Winchester.

This as a prequel, it would be nice to see how he began to pursue the issue of hunting things .. After the death of his wife as research on the topic and how it is gradually creating the newspaper that after the brothers inherit. They could include people like Elle or Bobby, appearing in Supernatural and all form part of the life of the great Winchester. And besides, we must recognize that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is most attractive. In fact, it would be the fourth in my lust teligiosa.

A curiosity: Due to the success in the audience who had the character of Jess (Milo Ventigmilia, now famous as Peter Petrelli in Heroes) in Gilmore Girls, were about to spin off the character. In the end it went ahead.

When HDTV sets first started arising on the market in late 90s consumers were amazed at the clarity HDTV delivered over regular television screens. Though research commenced almost ten years ago, Sony and its partners did not present a final commercial product until mid 2006. The name Blu-Ray derives from the blue laser that is used to read information from a Blu-Ray formatted disc. This is in opposition to the red laser used to scan regular DVD discs. But why is Blu-Ray better than existing DVD formats?  Although Blu-Ray discs and players don’t appear any different than normal DVDs, they can save much more info which means clearer picture, better audio, and more special features. DVDs can hold up to 8 gbs. of data while Blu-Ray discs can hold fifty gigabytes. Huge difference. The max resolution of a DVD is 720×480 lines whereas Blu-Ray has a max of 1920×1080 (also known as full HD).
